Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 18 months recent specialty experience and an active OH or compact RN license. Responsibilities - Position is in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit - Patient population includes med/surg and telemetry cases - 12-hour rotating shifts; day (7am–7:30pm) and night (7pm–7:30am) shifts with possible variable scheduling to meet operational needs - Travelers may need to float as required by the hospital - Electronic charting and timekeeping through Qualivis Lotus - Must work at least every other holiday - Onsite fingerprinting and badge pickup are required prior to start - Training modules must be completed prior to start and annually as required by the facility - First-time travelers will be considered - Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate - Permanent or per diem staff cannot return within one year of their previous end date Requirements - Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration - Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience prior to travel assignments - Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required - Must provide one supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty - Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation - No open background investigation cases and no license issues Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615771.
