Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring active OH or compact license and 18 months of recent specialty experience. Responsibilities - Work in a medical/surgical telemetry unit within a hospital setting - Patient population includes adult med/surg with telemetry monitoring needs - Assignment is for 13 weeks - Schedule consists of 3x12 hour shifts with rotating day and night shifts (7am-7:30pm / 7pm-7:30am), subject to operational needs - Traveler must be willing to rotate shifts if needed - Required to work every other holiday - Background checks must not have any open cases or license hits for candidate consideration - Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to facility for 1 year from their previous end date - Nurses and CSTs are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements for this assignment - Badging and onsite fingerprinting must be completed before start date - Mandatory training modules must be completed prior to start and annually as required by specialty - Locals are accepted at the same bill rate Requirements - Active permanent OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration - AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required and must be active - Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in med/surg telemetry prior to travel assignments - One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required - Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation is required Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-611728.
