Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele assignment requiring 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license. Responsibilities - Position is in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting - Assignment is 13 weeks in duration - Work schedule is 3x12-hour shifts with rotating day and night shifts (7am-7:30pm/7pm-7:30am); facility reserves the right to rotate shifts as needed - Travelers are required to work at least every other holiday - Patient care includes cardiac monitoring and telemetry - ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment required during orientation - Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free requirements as per current facility policy - Annual training modules are required and must be completed prior to start - Badging and onsite fingerprinting must be completed before starting the assignment - Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to the facility for one year after their previous end date - Facility accepts local candidates at the same bill rate - Travelers may float as needed to meet operational demands Requirements - Active Ohio or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration - AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required and must be active, not pending - Minimum of 18 months permanent, recent Med/Surg Tele experience required prior to travel assignments - One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty is required for consideration - Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation - No license with active disciplinary action or open cases considered Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-614219.
