Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/05/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a current OH or compact RN license and strong recent MS/Tele experience. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit - Care for adult patients requiring medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring - Rotating day/night 12-hour shifts (7:00-19:30 and 19:00-7:30), with shifts subject to change based on hospital needs - Expected to work at least every other holiday - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment required during orientation - Holiday coverage is required at least every other holiday - Candidates must obtain acceptable scores on required assessments during orientation with up to two attempts permitted - Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate - Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals within one year of their previous end date - Badge pickup and fingerprinting must be completed onsite prior to start date - Pre-start and annual educational modules must be completed as assigned - Nurses are currently exempt from nicotine-free requirements Requirements - Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration - AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required and must be active - Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele prior to travel - At least 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience required (travel experience accepted) - One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty is required - No pending licenses or certifications - No open background cases or license hits accepted Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627413.
