Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details - Location: Cleveland, OH 44106 (Ohio nursing jobs) - Healthcare Setting: Academic Level 1 Trauma Center, Cardiac Stepdown Unit - Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Start Date: December 1, 2025 - End Date: March 1, 2026 - Contract Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 10-hour day shifts (06:45 AM – 05:30 PM) - Hours per Week: 40 - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,500 – $2,560 Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state - Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Operating Room (OR), or acute care nursing jobs - Experience assisting with heart and lung transplant procedures required - Scrubbing experience preferred - Willingness to participate in call rotation - Completion of all required health screenings and background checks (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement, TB/PPD, Drug Screen, and more as required) - Valid Driver’s License or State ID Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients - Assist with heart and lung transplant procedures as part of the surgical healthcare team - Monitor and assess patients recovering from complex cardiac surgeries - Participate in call rotation and respond to emergent clinical situations - Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes - Accurately document all aspects of patient care and clinical interventions - Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Join our healthcare team at the forefront of cardiac nursing in Cleveland’s University Circle neighborhood.
