Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 26 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with strong bone density experience, 3-5 years in the field, and current ARRT(R)(BD) and BLS (AHA) certifications. Responsibilities - Work primarily as a Bone Density Technologist in a radiology setting - May assist with general X-ray cases when no bone density procedures are scheduled - Handles adult patient population and bone density studies - Uses Hologic and GE equipment, with Siemens experience preferred - Epic EMR experience is a plus - 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM - Will be responsible for bone density studies and assisting with general X-ray imaging - Team support structure provided during shifts - Epic rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment required during orientation - Permanent candidates may not return to facility for 1 year from previous end date - PBDS Assessment is waived - Locals are accepted at the same bill rate Requirements - ARRT(R) and (BD) certification and BLS (AHA) required and must be active - 3-5 years of bone density technology experience required - Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in specialty prior to travel required - Permanent Ohio license required, or must obtain prior to start; compact licenses accepted for eligible starts - Siemens equipment and Epic EMR experience preferred - Must provide one reference from a manager, supervisor, ANM, or director in the specialty - Must be nicotine free with a negative 10-panel and nicotine (cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-619806.
