Facility A cancer center located at a hospital is seeking a
hematologist/oncologist for locum tenens coverage. About the
Facility Location The facility is located in northern Ohio. About
the Clinician's Workday This opportunity is primarily outpatient
with occasional inpatient consults, offering a patient mix of
approximately 60% oncology and 40% hematology. The provider will
see 10-15 patients per day, working Monday through Friday from 8:00
AM to 4:30 PM, with light evening call on a 1:3-1:4 rotation. The
team includes 3 MDs, 2 APPs, RNs, and MAs, and uses Meditech EMR.
Credentialing takes 30-60 days, with temps available. Candidates
must be board-certified in Medical Oncology at minimum, and the
facility is open to licensing through the IMLC for those eligible.
