Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience, Trauma Level II experience preferred License: OH State License required, pending license accepted Certifications: Registered with ARRT Must-Have: ARRT certified CT Tech Description: Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the most central facility to be eligible to apply. Performs and completes diagnostic procedures. Follows guidelines set by the radiologic association. Prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following established guidelines. Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics. Provides radiation safety for the operator and patient. Places patients in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine. Charcoal grey scrubs required. EPIC EMR system in use. Typical volume or census for the department is for a 326 bed Level II trauma center. GE CT equipment is currently in use, including GE and Toshiba/Cannon. Travelers are first to float. Travelers with more than one call-off may face termination. No-shows are grounds for immediate termination. Modules are non-billable, and the average time spent on modules is 12 hours. Modules are completed pre-start. Modules are recorded by the manager.
