As an RN in th e Diagnostic Procedure Center , you will work closely with physicians , fellow RNs and other healthcare staff t o offer exceptional medical support and attention to all patients within the unit. You will gain hands-on experience with cutting edge technology and unique populations , offering a wealth of applicable nursing knowledge. A caregiver in this position works rotating days/evenings from 6:00AM-11:30PM. A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services to hospitalized patients in a variety of healthcare settings.
  • Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings in patient records and notify physicians of abnormal findings .
    • Perform telephone triage and call rotations .
      • Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.
        • Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families and the health care team .
          • Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs and facilitate discharge planning .
            • Evaluate, initiate and maintain standards of care .
              • Educate patients and families .
                • Cover other nursing roles in the department . Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
                  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
                    • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
                      • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
                        • One year of recent experience as an RN Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

                            • Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
                            • Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
                            • Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
                            • Requires some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids.
                            • Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
                            • Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.Personal Protective Equipment:
