Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience License: Permanent Ohio license or Compact State license required at submission Certifications: BLS & ACLS required; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start Must-Have: - Minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel - Two recent references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments to be completed during orientation - Background check without any open cases or license hits Job Description: - Night shift with 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM - Submit only one job application at a time within the specified health system - Module completion required pre-start and annually, averaging 6-10 hours, non-billable - Nicotine test waived for Nurses and CSTs; all other travelers must be nicotine-free - Badging and fingerprinting must be completed onsite prior to start date - Orientation includes 20 non-billable hours - Facility maintains a strict do not call policy - BCI/FBI prints are time sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
