Registered Nurse (RN) to their Float Pool. As a caregiver in the Float Pool, you will work with diverse populations of patients in

numerous

units/departments while learning from many of our best caregivers.

Our team of nurses provides the highest quality care for patients with complex acute and chronic health issues. We address health issues along a continuum of care from the time of admission to transfer or discharge. Both the patient and the family are encouraged to

participate

in the interdisciplinary plan of care to achieve healthy outcomes

.

A caregiver in this position works

Night shifts, from 7:00pm-7:30am.


A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide direct nursing care.

Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.

Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.

Administer

prescribed medications and treatments.

Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.

Educate patients and their families

.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

One-year of current acute care RN experience. Will consider military RN experience.

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN).
