**Registered Dietitian 2 for McGregor Senior Living**

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian 2 to provide clinical care to residents at McGregor Senior Living, a continuing care retirement community in East Cleveland, OH.

**Job Description:**

No need to go far to change the world - one resident at a time. Your nutritional know-how can help residents in your community live happier, healthier lives. As a Registered Dietitian 2, you will provide clinical care to residents, including nutrition education and development of nutrition care plans.

**Responsibilities:**

--- Provide nutritional care to long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients
--- Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards
--- Be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences
--- Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff
--- Support the food service operation as needed

**Requirements:**

--- Registered Dietitian credentials and state licensure in Ohio
--- Strong verbal and written communication skills
--- Strong leadership skills
--- Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
--- Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with seniors

**Qualifications:**

--- Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
--- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
--- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
