Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.Experience1 year RN experience preferred.Preferred experience: ICU, ED, Cath/EP Lab; will orient nurses to critical care if no critical care experience.EducationGraduate of an accredited nursing program required, BSN preferred.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesKnowledge of nursing process and practice. RequiredUses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. RequiredLicenses and CertificationsCurrent RN licensure in the State of Ohio required.Current BLS and ACLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association or must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.Shift:Hours: 8 hour shifts; 7:00-3:30 p.m.; This is an outpatient department & the staff works until the cases are complete.Call Requirement: 30 minutes arrival to hospital after page.
