Description Seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for BMT/Malignant Heme to work Night shift at Seidman Cancer Center in Cleveland. APP experience, Oncology, Sickle cell Disease experience or clinical rotations preferred. New grads welcome to apply!\n Summary:\n\nPerforms patient assessment and assigns diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific and current research.\nEstablishes plan of care and implements interventions in accordance with care paths, protocols, and standards of care and current research.\nCollaborates w/other health care providers in an interdisciplinary approach to provide care to the patient and family.\nOrder and perform routine diagnostic procedures\nDevelop and implement treatment plans\nMonitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions\nContributes to the educational development of staff, patients, family and self.\nDemonstrates progressive leadership and effective management.\nProvides education through role modeling and in-services to meet identified learning needs and to promote professionalism.\nAdvances own professional development through self-directed learning, continuing education and participation in peer review.\nInitiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers.\nInitiates and maintains positive relationships with co-workers.\nTakes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment.\nDisplays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values\nQualifications Position Requirements:\nDemonstrated competence as a practitioner \nEffective oral and written communication skills\nA variety of technical patient care devices specific to the clinical area \nComputers and selected office equipment\n\nExperience and Knowledge:\nDemonstrated leadership skills\nDemonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships\n\nEducation/Expertise:\nNurse Practitioner: \nNursing Doctorate or Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis on clinical practice.\n-or-\nPhysician Assistant: \nCompletion of a formal Physician Assistant training from an accredited program with NCCPA certification. \n\nRequired Credentials, Licensure or Certification (i.e. RN, RRT):\nNurse Practitioner: \nBLS required; ACLS preferred \nCurrent Registered Nurse license to practice in Ohio.\nCurrent APRN license to practice in Ohio. \n-or-\nPhysician Assistant: \nBLS required; ACLS preferred\nNCCPA-Certified.\nDEA license
