Description Welcome to Hannah House 3! What a new and exciting opportunity to join a growing team. Hannah House 3 will be opening in October as a medical-surgical unit with mostly medicine patients. The unit will consist of 18 single patient rooms with ability to flex to 22 as needed. As we continue to grow staff will have the opportunity to assist with innovative projects and unit growth. If you are looking for somewhere to not only grow and develop a team but yourself professionally, Hannah House 3 is the place for you! \n \nPatient Population: Many different patient diagnoses including: liver disease, pneumonia, CHF, GI bleed, COPD, ESRD, dialysis pts, asthma, sepsis and cancer among others. \n \nDescription: \nProvides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. \nDimensions are: \n1. Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care. \n2. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes. \n3. Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations. \n4. Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. \n5. Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes \n6. Displays the mission of the hospital and its values. Qualifications Position Requirements:Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (i.e. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. Education Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Minimum of Diploma/Associate's Degree in nursing from accredited program. \nNote: Education and degree verification will be required upon receiving a job offer. \nLicense Requirements:An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance. \nCurrent BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation. \n \nPreferred Qualifications:BSN preferred. Prior experience in the Acute Care setting in a practicum or UAP capacity (STNA, PCNA, NA II, etc.) is preferred.
