• Facility: UH - Cleveland Medical Center
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Unit/Specialty: Telemetry
• Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift Requirements:
  • Level 1 experience required
  • Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS (In Hand)
  • 2 years of Stepdown experience (Must be recent within the last 6 months)
  • ICU experience preferred Additional Information:
    • Candidates should only be submitted to a maximum of one job at a time within UH
    • Former perm employees must wait until after 6 months to be sent in for a position
    • No block scheduling requests, unless for Weekends Only (that will be considered, but not necessarily approved)
    • MILEAGE REQUIREMENT: Candidate must be at least 60 miles from ANY UH facility to qualify for Travel Rate. Candidates within 60 miles will qualify for Local Rate ($90)
    • Medical management of high-risk cardiac conditions
    • Specialties include: Initiation, dose adjustment and symptom management of anti-dysrhythmic medications such as Tikosyn; management of pre and post cardiac invasive procedures such as EP studies, pacemaker insertions and heart stenting; care of acute and chronic heart failure; symptom management of advanced staged pulmonary hypertension; pre and post heart transplant care, and the care of ventricular assistive devices (VADs)
    • Stepdown Focus (9 beds): High level, frequent assessment and monitoring currently performed in the CICU such as arterial pressures, swan lines, post TAVR procedures, and titration of drips
    • COMMON DIAGNOSES: Fluid Volume Overload, Acute Myocardial Infarction, Atrial fibrillation, GI Bleed from anticoagulation, Acute on Chronic Heart Failure
    • Fit Test completed on-site. Gentlemen must be clean shaven
