DescriptionPediatric Pulmonary Unit The division is designed to provide acute medical and nursing care to 33 pediatric medical and surgical patients. Patients admitted to this division require diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of acute medical conditions or treatment of exacerbations of chronic illness. Common patient diagnoses include: Asthma Cystic fibrosis Patients with tracheostomy and ventilator dependence Respiratory viruses and infections Joining the UH Rainbow Babies and Children's Pediatric Pulmonary Team comes with many benefits, including a sign-on bonus of $6,000 for RN's with 1 year RN experience hired externally. QualificationsExperience Requirement: Licensed RN experience required. Inpatient RN experience required. One (1) year of inpatient experience preferred. Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Minimum of Diploma/Associate's Degree in nursing from accredited program required. License Requirements: Registered nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio required.
