RN - Mobile Director of Nursing - Long Term CareCommuniCare Health Servicesowns and operates over 95 facilities in 7 states. CommuniCare is currently recruiting an experienced DON to assume the role ofMobile Director of Nursingfor CommuniCare facilities in theCleveland/Youngstown, OHregion. The Mobile DON will be required to travel to the various facilities as needed.

Job Requirements:

• 
  
• Current State of Ohio RN license
  
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience as DON
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• The ability to multi-task and oversees functions at multiple facilities
  
• Ability to travel, sometimes for an extended time, to facilities within the region, as needed.
  
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long term care administration.
  
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
  
• The ability to communicate well with employees and families about their issues
  
• Must maintain current CPR certification
  
  The Mobile Director of Nursing will be responsible to:
  
  • 
    
  • Evaluate facility compliance to clinical policy, procedure, and care
    
  • Visit facilities weekly for intervention, audit, and training
    
  • Train new nursing management
    
  • Monitor readiness for State Survey and assist during surveys
    
  • Aid in Plan of Correction process
