platforms/technologies - Java, MEAN, LAMP, Amazon AWS/EC2, Content
Management and Publishing, Vertical and Enterprise Search,
Multimedia, Blog, Web Analytics and SEO. Soon all of the services
will be available on mobile smartphones, iOS and Android tablet
devices, followed by implementation of a highly sophisticated and
scalable SaaS platform.
We are looking for a Senior UI Designer to join our product team
and help us continue to set the standard for business applications
used by Deloitte Human Capital clients and practitioners. This role
will participate in key solutions within an existing product line
and help develop new products. This person will be expected to work
closely with their peers on the UX team, as well as engineering and
quality assurance to deliver on an exciting product roadmap.
Work You'll Do:
- Manage the delivery of high fidelity mockups and interactive
prototypes across multiple workstreams for development and use in
user research studies
- Establish efficient team processes to ensure a collaborative
approach that helps us deliver the best experience on time
- Oversee the design of high fidelity visual designs of product
features based on business requirements, and work directly with
front-end development to ensure all visual designs are to
spec.
- Team up with engineers and senior leadership to define and
implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals,
and experience
- Own, manage and grow the HCaaS design system and establish UI
guidelines to ensure our deliverables are on brand, to spec, and
accessible
- Determine and advise on interaction patterns
- Utilize corporate brand documentation to ensure consistent
presentation of the brand throughout the product
- Collaborate with marketing, as well as other internal teams to
ensure consistent presentation of the brand throughout the
product
- Facilitate UI design reviews with key stakeholders during the
design process
- Ensure design is represented at any necessary Agile development
ceremonies for each work stream
- Prototype concepts for communication with the business, to aid
in sales demos, development, and usability studies
- Assist with presentations, communications and product support
materials
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic, visual or industrial design or
another related field
- 5+ years of end-to-end design experience in the software
product space
- 5+ years experience in SDLC / product development and working
closely with engineering during development sprints
- 5+ years experience using Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator,
InDesign, with exposure to HTML/CSS
- 2+ years experience working with Confluence and JIRA
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without
the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the
future.
- Ability to travel 0-50%, on average, based on the work you do
and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Pervious work examples needed: product design portfolio,
example design system, high-fidelity prototype
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with responsive and mobile design
- Possess a clean and clear visual sensibility and an eye for
detail
- Organized and able to juggle multiple projects with varied
deadlines
