Job Title: RN Charge NurseJob Summary:The RN Charge Nurse will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of care plans, administering medications, and conducting rounds with physicians.Key Responsibilities:

• Observe, assess, document, and report resident condition/changes during rounds
• Assure implementation of care plans as directed by physicians and facility policies
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
• Conduct rounds with physicians and record visits in clinical records
• Perform narcotic reconciliation with incoming and outgoing shifts
• Identify significant changes in resident condition and take necessary action per facility policies and procedures
• Oversee and monitor aides to ensure quality care is provided
• Initiate and complete Incident and Accident Reports per facility policy
• Discharge residents per facility policy
• Communicate with resident's point of contact regarding status updates or changes in conditionQualifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse in the state of Texas in good standing
