We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to oversee
a series of real estate development projects in multifamily
housing. This is a contract role with the opportunity for extension
based on performance and project requirements. The Program Manager
will be responsible for coordinating multiple real estate
development projects at varying stages, ensuring alignment with
organizational goals, managing stakeholders, and driving successful
project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive
project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and
deliverables for each project within the program. Coordinate
project activities and dependencies to ensure smooth execution and
timely delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders at various
levels to understand project requirements, expectations, and
priorities. Maintain open communication channels to provide regular
updates, gather feedback, and address concerns throughout the
project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues associated
with the projects and develop mitigation strategies to minimize
their impact. Proactively monitor project progress, anticipate
challenges, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep
projects on track.
- Resource Allocation: Collaborate with resource managers to
allocate resources effectively across projects within the program.
Ensure that project teams have the necessary skills and support to
fulfill their responsibilities and meet project objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Establish quality standards and processes to
ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed stakeholder
expectations. Conduct regular reviews and inspections to verify
compliance with requirements and identify areas for
improvement.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Implement robust project
tracking mechanisms to monitor progress, expenditures, and key
performance indicators (KPIs) for each project. Prepare regular
status reports and presentations for project sponsors and senior
management to provide visibility into project performance and
achievements.
- Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule,
and requirements by assessing impacts, evaluating alternatives, and
obtaining necessary approvals. Facilitate communication and
collaboration among stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and
minimize disruptions. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project
management, or related field; PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven experience managing complex programs or portfolios of
projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and
motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of
the organization.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools,
and techniques, such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft
Project, JIRA, Trello) and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft
Office, Google Workspace).
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities, work
under pressure, and deliver results in a fast-paced
environment.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in project or program
management within the real estate development sector preferred.
Duration:
- This is a contract position with an initial duration of 9
months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs
and performance evaluation.
