Position Summary

Ohio Magnetics, located in Maple Heights, OH seeks a talented, entrepreneurial Regional Sales Manager to drive commercial activities, including new business, sales growth with current and future product lines, market segments, and technologies within the business. The Regional Sales Manager will work with current and potential customers and the sales team to promote new and existing technologies, products, and services to meet customer needs.

Overall responsibility for the achievement of Ohio Magnetics sales and growth objectives. This role will cover the continental United States with an emphasis on Midwest and southern Atlantic states and is an individual contributor role.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for successfully prospecting and managing sales pipeline.
  • Responsible for executing annual sales objectives, budgets, and project plans.
  • Develop relationships with end users and key resellers within the territory.
  • Implements sales programs and promotions to increase the territory sales volume and profitability.
  • Maintains a detailed understanding of competitive activities and communicates recommendations of initiatives in response to market conditions and trends.
  • Designs and recommends sales and marketing programs and sets short and long term sales strategies for the territory
  • Responsible for forecasting and sales tracking, inclusive of daily sales activities within the territory
  • Empowered to make decisions within the territory in partnership with functional peers.
  • Aligns commercial and operational initiatives to achieve business objectives.
  • Attend trade shows and customer events. Experience and Education Required
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or a related field
    • 5 or more years in outside sales in an industrial or technical sales role
    • Ability to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated decision making and strategic account management.
    • Advanced skill with all MS Office products Technical Skills
      • Advanced skill with all MS Office products Travel Required
        • Must possess a valid Driver's License with a safe driving record.
        • Must be able to travel regularly up to 50% of the time.
