Guided by strong principles and genuine passion, we provide our the Brightside Academy quality education that is different from other childcare programs in Cleveland, Akron, and Columbus. We are seeking for a Corporate Director of People Operations to join - our team of passionate professionals. Summary of the Role: The Corporate - Director of People Operations is the most important source of opinion for the human resources of a department. They must be knowledgeable in labor relations and handling the most complex human resources scenarios prior to reaching out to the counsel for legal guidance. - The most important skill amongst all the technical knowledge is the soft skill of people and emotional management while handling - personnel on the - same -hierarchy level, lateral, or below. Lead the Planning and Growth of the HR Department O versee each working detail of the HR department and ensure it is following best practices. - P lay a significant role in being accountable for the department's performance. - C rucial duties toward the -department are as follows:

  • Plan, direct, and manage all human resource initiatives, such as recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations.
  • Oversee staff operations, business planning, and budget development of HR programs.
  • Establish human resources objectives following organizational goals along with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
  • Implement human resources strategies through department accountabilities for (not limited to) talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, training and development, employee retention, and AA/EEO compliance. The - Corporate -Director -of -People Operations -prepares -extensive -metrics -detailing the HR department's progress and highlighting its achievements. However, they also need to discuss its shortcomings and their strategy for addressing them. - Thus, the role requires strong - analytical, -leadership and organizational skills. Contribute to Developing Organization-Level Strategies The - Coporate Director of People Operations is considered as one of the senior leaders within the organization and has to handle the responsibilities that come with that part. They must counsel the management of different departments by providing advice on managing employees and cultivating the ideal culture. Additionally, they - have to -research, develop, and update the organization's policies and guidelines wherever they can. The HR director also - must -plan, supervise, and contribute insights and recommendations to develop the organization's growth strategies. Supervise and Guide HR - Department The Corporate - Director -of -People Operations -mentors -the -HR Department staff -and make crucial decisions. Adv ise -staff -on essential aspects like employee and labor policies, such as ADA, FMLA, and OSHA. They also -have to -facilitate -HR -Generalist -in -handling -with the day-to-day problems and complaints from department employees regarding employee benefits, payroll, and paperwork. Collaborate With Fellow Department Heads S upport -and collaborate with -other Directors and corporate staff -to -deliver employee training programs, give employees feedback, ensure compliance with labor laws, and facilitate performance management. Strategic Partner with the Director of Curriculum and Education The Corporate Director of People Operations will strategize in improving the quality of educators and administrators through an intensive Training Program and creating a Career Pathway for the employees. Qualifications:
    • Masters in Human Relations Management or Legal Studies a plus
    • Bachelors in Human Relations Management or Business
    • 10 plus years of Management experience of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Employee Relations, Training
    • Excellent knowledge in Employment Laws
