Job Description:

The Account Manager will be responsible for the management of Commercial Cleaning Accounts. Specific responsibilities include work scheduling of all cleaning personnel, establishing work standards and training to those standards, conducting site evaluations, audits, overall inventory/equipment usage, budget control, employee performance appraisals, troubleshooting/problem solving, customer relations, and special project work as requested. This individual will also ensure that all managed services are being provided in a proper and cost effective manner.

Essential Functions:


Provides client relationship and management of accounts throughout North East Ohio
Ensure contract specifications are followed and document successes and discrepancies providing action plans where required
Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending improvements.
Establish and maintain effective lines of communications with the client and facility personnel to ascertain that their needs and requirements are being met per the contract
Control expenses within area of responsibility
Oversee inspections, quality control measures, inventory control and staffing
Evaluate and justify supplies, equipment, and purchases as needed
Maintains staff by partnering with HR for recruiting, selecting and training employees
Providing discipline/termination recommendations to HR
Maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment
Establish and ensure compliance with work standards and flow of work to maximize results.


Requirements:


Three to Five years (3-5) as an experienced Janitorial /Service Manager with an extensive background managing all aspects of janitorial operations with high customer/client contact
Must be able to travel to related sites and attend business meetings related to the account
P & L experience or understanding preferred
Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
