Overview OverviewThe Director of Third-Party Due Diligence will
be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining AmTrust's
Third-Party Due Diligence ("TPDD") program. This includes reviewing
third-party risk assessments, developing tools, and implementing
procedures to effectively handle third-party risk throughout the
third-party lifecycle. - Responsibilities Responsibilities
- Collaborate with all Lines of Business, Audit, Information
Technology, Compliance, and other areas of the company to provide a
comprehensive framework for managing third party risks
- Mitigate third-party risk by following established procedures
and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating
strong ethical behavior
- Develop, communicate, and ensure adherence to AmTrust's risk
policies, procedures and best practices
- Organize and lead remediation efforts
- Lead and contribute to special projects including program
enhancements, resource coordination, and senior management
presentations
- Develop and strengthen relationships with business partners and
risk control functions
- Stay abreast of industry and market events that impact
third-party risk management processes
- Foster an environment of regulatory awareness and ensure
regulatory compliance
- Support and monitor ongoing staff education and development in
effective risk management Qualifications Qualifications
- Experience in managing larger and smaller vendor partners with
a proven history of implementing successful, cost saving
programs.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry, rules, and
regulations
- Bachelor's Degree. JD/Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management
- Ability to work independently under time pressure
- Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Solid communication, negotiation, and relationship management
