What You'll Do/Need (Job Summary):Information Technology: Monitor, maintain, streamline, upgrade, repair, & document existing and new hardware and software pertaining to the health and general operations of IT and phone system. This includes all laptops, workstations, servers, battery backups, switches, firewall, backup service, network wiring and all other computer, networking, and phone hardware. Maintain documentation as to any changes in the above responsibilities. Utilize Web development & IT Skills to work towards continuous improvement for Website, MRP/ERP, software, hardware, network, DFARS/CMMC and ITAR compliancy & other projects.
Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)

• Monitor network, hardware, software, phone, and website performance.
  • Repair/replace broken computers, computer components, network components, server components, phones, network wiring, phone wiring, and any other technology based equipment on premises.
    • Upgrade hardware, software, network components, and phones as needed to streamline and maintain a smooth and efficient working environment.
      • Maintain and organize records of hardware, software, licenses, and network changes and fixes.
        • Work with consultants to ensure up to date compliance with DFARS/CMMC requirements.
          • Recommend and/or purchase hardware, software, support, services, and vendor requirements.
            • Communicate with vendors' support for problem solving with proprietary hardware and software.
              • Utilize IT skills to improve ERP/MRP Epicor software working with Epicor support and managed IT service to maintain a consistent IT/Manufacturing environment.
                • Maintain & Develop Website changes as needed or assigned.
                  • Research and Design of special projects.
                    • Use software to monitor and fix network performance.
                      • Assist in implementation, and use software to assist users remotely with computer problems.
                        • Configure computers and phones for new users as required at both workstations and servers.
                          • Run network cable/phone cable where needed for new or existing computers or phones.
                            • Get the facts, determine requirements and best solutions.
                              • Order, test, troubleshoot equipment for special projects.
                                • Determine best vendors and work with them for special project software and hardware.
                                  Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities required)
                                  • 5 years similar industry & technical experience.
                                    • BS in IT and Web Development preferred.
                                      • Software and hardware knowledge.
                                        • Fluent in Microsoft Windows, Works, Word, Excel & Outlook, including trouble-shooting skills.
                                          • Moderate to advanced math required.
                                            • Excellent verbal, written & communication skills required.
