The Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Tower is looking for a
Director of Rooms to join our team!
We're looking for a service professional to lead our Front Desk and
Do you have the leadership skills to take us to the next level of
customer service and guest satisfaction?
The primary role of the position is to plan and manage the rooms
and related area's operations of the hotel to achieve customer
(guests, employees, corporate and owners) satisfaction and quality
service while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
Other responsibilities include:
- Manage the Human Resources in the division in order to attract,
retain and motivate the employees; hire, train, develop, empower,
coach and counsel, conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve
problems, provide open communication vehicles, discipline and
terminate, as appropriate.
- Implement company programs and manage the operations of the
division in a manner consistent with Federal/State laws and
regulations and policies and procedures to ensure a high level of
quality and customer satisfaction.
- Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high
level of customer satisfaction and quality.
Ideal candidate should have Front Desk management experience along
with expertise in Housekeeping and Guest Services areas.
Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to work
Excellent written, verbal, analytical and communication skills are
Must also be willing to train and mentor all associates in company
culture and customer service skills.
Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be
required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs of the
hotel. Must be committed to the highest level of hospitality
development and member/guest/associate relations.
