General Manager (GM) will oversee front of house, and
infrastructural operations, including financials, service levels,
etc. of multiple taproom locations. The Sr. GM supports local
taproom managers in running meetings, ensuring that broad matters
are dealt with and executed, and maintaining a strategic operating
plan and communicating such plans to taproom managers and assistant
managers and staff. The Sr. General Manager will maintain a broad
strategic approach to all relevant restaurant functions. This
position reports to the Director of Pubs and interfaces regularly
with company ownership, and other functional managers to maintain
cohesiveness. In addition to all of this, the Sr. GM will develop
and maintain the organizational vision in regard to FOH operations.
This position could be located in Cleveland or Columbus, Ohio.
- Maintain favorable business relationship with peers, staff,
vendors, and other company employees.
- Maximize cost controls through training, monitoring, inventory
controls, and correct POS pricing structures.
- Ensure all financial and administrative reporting is accurate
and submitted according to scheduled deadlines.
- Reviews order history, sales reports, and other relevant pieces
of data to monitor profit and loss.
- Collaborates with the taproom managers to maintain accurate
pricing and inventory.
- Perform regular kitchen and counter checks to ensure overall
efficiency of business operations.
- Respond to guest complaints, taking any and all appropriate
actions to promote customer retention. Job Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in restaurant management, preferably in GM
- College degree in a business management, hospitality, or
culinary field preferred.
- Experience with budgeting, procurement, and inventory
- Strong ability to lead, direct, and develop others.
- Knowledge of bar & restaurant industry trends, government
