Location: Northeast Ohio Smartland owns and manages 1,400 rental homes and apartment units across Northeast Ohio. We’re hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician who takes pride in quality work and wants long-term stability with room to grow. If you’re skilled, reliable, and can solve problems independently, we want to meet you. We’d be especially excited to connect with candidates who also have exterior maintenance experience. What You’ll Do Handle service requests and emergency repairs Complete unit turns on time and up to Smartland standards Repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry issues Perform inspections and preventive maintenance Assist with exterior repairs and maintenance as needed Document work in AppFolio (notes, photos, parts used) Support junior techs and coordinate with vendors Communicate professionally with residents and staff What You Bring 3 years of residential/multifamily maintenance experience Strong troubleshooting skills across major trades Exterior maintenance experience is a huge plus Valid driver’s license with clean record Basic tools and comfort using mobile work order apps Ability to lift 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors Schedule Full-time, Monday–Friday Rotating on-call (evenings/weekends) Travel between properties (company vehicle provided) Pay & Benefits $25–$30/hr based on experience Company vehicle Performance-based raises Medical, dental, vision PTO paid holidays Career path: Senior Tech ?
