We’re looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist who can hit
the ground running. This role requires expertise in setting up and
running CNC lathes with minimal supervision, consistently producing
tight-tolerance components. The ideal candidate will bring deep
knowledge of machining practices, strong problem-solving ability,
and the confidence to keep production moving efficiently in a
fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do Independently set up,
program, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components.
Review and interpret complex blueprints, specifications, and work
orders with minimal guidance. Select tooling, set offsets, and
optimize feeds/speeds to maximize efficiency while maintaining
quality. Maintain productivity by keeping yourself and others
focused on producing quality parts and meeting timelines. Perform
in-process inspections to verify accuracy and maintain tight
tolerances. Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments to
keep production on track. Contribute to continuous improvement by
identifying process or tooling enhancements. Maintain machines
through routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs. Ensure a
safe, clean, and organized work area at all times. Qualifications
U.S. citizenship (Required by Department of Defense) Successful
completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check
required. High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced
technical training preferred. 10 years of proven CNC lathe
machining experience (G-code and Mazatrol strongly preferred).
Demonstrated ability to set up, program, and run CNC lathes
independently. Skilled at holding tight tolerances and working with
a wide range of materials. Proficient with precision measuring
tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators). Strong
troubleshooting and problem-solving ability to resolve machining
challenges quickly. Familiarity with CNC programming software and
basic computer skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
to keep production flowing. Physical ability to lift up to 50
pounds and perform repetitive tasks. We are committed to
