Job Description:
Lincoln Electric seeks an innovative and driven Robotic
Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cleveland, Ohio.
This role focuses on enhancing our manufacturing processes via
robotic and automation solutions, aligning with our commitment to
pioneering advancements in the welding and cutting industry. The
successful candidate will be pivotal in designing, implementing,
and optimizing automation systems to improve efficiency, quality,
and safety on our production floor. Design, develop, and implement
robotic and automated manufacturing solutions to improve efficiency
and quality. Analyze and enhance existing automation systems to
maximize productivity and reduce costs. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and
design, to integrate and synchronize automation technology. Provide
technical support and training to staff and stakeholders on new
automation technologies. Conduct research on the latest automation
technologies and make recommendations for improvements and
acquisitions. Ensure all automation projects comply with industry
safety and quality standards. Strong proficiency in programmable
logic controllers (PLCs) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM)
software. Excellent knowledge of robotics system integration and
various automation hardware. Skillful in troubleshooting and
maintaining complex automation equipment. Ability to work with CAD
software for designing mechanical systems and components. Strong
project management capabilities and effective communication skills.

Automation Professional (CAP) by the International Society of
Automation (ISA) is preferred. Relevant certifications in project
management, like PMP, may also be beneficial.
