Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer for their
manufacturing facility near Akron, OH.Responsibilities:Lead and
manage the plant's quality programEnsure assembly operations meet
company and customer specifications.Manage new processes and
implementation in regard to new product launchesParticipate on
plant continuous improvement initiativesParticipate in customer
meetingsParticipate in quality reporting and management review
process.Provide process improvement
recommendations.Qualifications:BS/BA from an accredited college or
University highly preferred; technical degree a plus!3+ years
experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Quality Engineering in a
manufacturing environment.Experience with formal Lean Manufacturing
or Continuous Improvement projectsSix Sigma Green Belt training or
certification highly preferred.Strong software experience with
software systems such as Minitab or other statistical software
packages.
