Our organization is searching for a Senior RF Engineering Director
to lead our RF engineering team.
What You Will Be Doing
As our Sr. RF Engineer, Wi-Fi, you will lead and execute all RF
Engineering activities for our organization. You will follow
standard RF guidelines, metrics, MVP list for all Private Wireless
projects and activities. You will also be responsible for executing
RAN Planning, Design, Network Architecture elements, MDF/IDF,
Electrical, design tools, propagations, optimizations for Converged
Wireless RF Design, acting as the SME for all Unlicensed (Wi-Fi,
IoT) designs. You will work cross-functionally within our company,
as well as with partners and customers to cultivate technical
relationships across a diverse set of vendors and drive the
technical roadmaps, design standards and methodologies. Through
these relationships you will lead your team to expand the adoption
of CBRS, 5G, Wi-Fi and private wireless solutions.
In this role, you will design, develop the RF/RAN expertise on
Wi-Fi and IoT aspects, technical and Engineering RF support to
Customer Solution Engineering for private wireless opportunities.
You will also be responsible for working on any Professional
Services projects providing RF Engineering expertise and services.
You will partner closely with the teams Director, RF Engineering
and accelerate Commercial Technology Solutions for a faster
response to customer RFPs. You will work very closely with
Operations to collaborate, train and share the knowledge base of
Private Wireless designs, so the construction and deployment has a
smooth hand off. Additionally, you will work with our product
management team for product features and improvements based on what
you learn from your projects. You in partnership with Customer
Solution Engineering, will help build market share within our
targeted verticals, and help drive private wireless innovation.
This role requires deep RF design expertise in Wi-Fi and IoT
unlicensed protocols and technologies, along with relationship
building with cross functional team members. Your ability to
communicate in a professional high pace startup environment must be
world class.

You Will Accomplish This Goal Through
You will lead designs by example as you collaborate with internal
teams, partners and the broader Private Wireless ecosystem to
commercially integrate our solutions into target accounts.
Leading/designing all RF planning and design activities involving
Converged Wireless, specifically on Wi-Fi & IoT.
Building strong, trusting technical relationships between our
organization, vendors and partner organizations.
Partner with department's Director, RF Engineering and/or Vice
President for accelerating and scaling Commercial Technology
Solutions.
Collaborating with internal Customer Solutions engineering teams to
provide RF design for Private Wireless RFPs
Professionally demonstrating features of RF design tools,
certifications and standards.
Leading technical proof-of-concept engagements, pilots and RFP
technical responses
Effectively managing technical engagement, including escalations,
with customers, partners and internal teams.
Providing converged Private Wireless RF designs, network
architecture support to validate CSE solution with end-to-end RF
planning and design.
Remaining aware of Industry RF feature roadmaps and also working
with partners and vendors to stay at forefront of Wireless
design
Providing effective RF design SME in various aspects to include
sharing wireless trends and methodologies employed by other
customers
Discussing competitive offerings and technologies in the
marketplace and position ours as the optimal alternative
What You Need for this Position
Minimum 8-12 Years Leading And Managing RF Engineering Teams With
Hands-on Experience And Designing With One Or More Of The
Following
Certified RF Design with at least Level 2 certification in iBWave
Design, Propagation and Optimization modules
Deep expertise in RF design concepts, modeling, propagation and
optimization
Experience capturing customer user requirements and translating
that to a RF design
Experience in one or more RF design tools including ibWave, Ekahau,
Atoll etc.
Experience creating design templates, metrics.
Experience managing design revisions
Knowledge and experience with Cloud, Cloud Native concepts
Knowledge of CBRS, 5G and LTE is a plus along with Wi-Fi & IoT
technologies
Embraces change and thrives in a dynamic work environment
Self-starter with excellent communication, presentation, and
writing skills
Based in and authorized to work in the Continental United
States.
Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering or a related field or
equivalent experience
