Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.

considered. An elementary school in Grove City, OH, is seeking a
dedicated Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing for a full-semester
contract position. This role involves working with 5th grade
students, providing specialized instruction tailored to their
hearing-impaired needs. Responsibilities: Deliver individualized
and group instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
in accordance with their educational plans. Collaborate with
classroom teachers and support staff to integrate accommodations
and modifications. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching
strategies as needed. Participate in team meetings and communicate
with parents and caregivers about student development. Maintain
accurate records and comply with district policies. Qualifications:
Valid Ohio Educator License with a Hearing Impaired endorsement is
required. Please have your license information available.
Experience working with elementary-aged students who are deaf or
hard of hearing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work onsite and commit approximately 80 minutes per
month. Proven ability to develop supportive, engaging, and
effective instructional environments. Location and Schedule:
Position is onsite in Grove City, OH. Part-time, roughly 80 minutes
per month. Start date as soon as possible with contract running
