role, Brainlabs is looking for an experienced media planner/buyer
of 3-5 years to serve multiple clients developing multi-channel
media plans. Traditional and digital experience is required, along
with the ability to develop insightful plans with strong rationale.
This is a new role for the company, so this person should be a
self-starter and ok to navigate a path without a rule book. The
position will report to the Group Account Director of client
services and work alongside the media activation team. So, Tell Me

breakdown of what a Media Planner/Buyer at Brainlabs does: Media
Planning/Buying Translate a client brief from objectives and KPIs
into a media plan, adhering to budgets and timelines Negotiate with
vendors and buy media across all channels. Present recommendations
to senior clients and internal teams Place buys with TV/video,
cable, radio/audio, digital - negotiate and document rates, CPMs,
special placements or sponsorships, and added value Given this is a
new role, the scope of this position might extend beyond the
traditional definition. Creativity Stay atop new media trends,
innovations and industry best practices Ability to develop
innovative plans with cutting-edge media solutions, and insightful
rationale Collaborate with clients, media team members to manage
billing and resolve discrepancies Attention to detail Clearly and
accurately communicate orders and changes to media vendors
Estimate, update, and adjust all ratings/impressions Monitor buys
and progress, arrange for make-goods and credits, and be
responsible for the post-buy results of all buys Track media
expenditures in agency systems to ensure budget compliance Strong

role? 3 years of experience developing multi channel media plans
Integrated media buying/planning experience and client facing
experience Experienced in traditional and digital media
planning/buying Must have excellent verbal and written
communication skills, interpersonal skills, detail-orientation,
follow-through, negotiation skills Able to develop creative
original ideas, take the initiative, and assume responsibility to
develop interesting and smart plans Experience and strong working
knowledge of key business tools and media resources (ie: Kantar,
Mediaocean, Nelson, WideOrbit, Pathmatics, etc.) Must be
disciplined enough to work independently and in team settings
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and organization
Able to work well under pressure, under strict deadlines, and in a
