(Supporting Yardi Implementation) Compensation: $35-$40 an hour
Location: Vancouver, WA Job Type: Contract (3 months), Full Time,
Fully Onsite We're partnering with a property firm to identify an
Accountant to support a critical phase of system enhancement and
process optimization. This role is ideal for an accounting
professional with strong property accounting experience who enjoys
working within Yardi, improving workflows, and supporting
system-driven initiatives. You'll play a key role in ensuring
accurate financial data, supporting implementation efforts, and
aligning accounting processes across a diverse property portfolio.
Responsibilities: • Support Yardi implementation initiatives,
including system setup, testing, and data validation. • Assist with
month-end close processes, journal entries, and system-driven
reconciliations. • Review general ledgers and help prepare monthly
financial statements within Yardi. • Analyze income and expenses,
providing variance explanations and system-based reporting
insights. • Assist with bank reconciliations, mortgage processing,
and Yardi cash management functions. • Maintain and review tenant
leases, CAM reconciliations, and property records in Yardi. •
Process invoices, support check runs, and help document accounting
and system procedures. • Collaborate with internal teams on special
projects, system enhancements, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience •
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred) • Strong
understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) •
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong
emphasis on Excel and Yardi (at least 6 months required) • Prior
experience supporting or participating in Yardi implementations or
system upgrades preferred • Comfortable working in a professional,
collaborative, and systems-driven environment • Strong
communication skills with the ability to troubleshoot and
problem-solve • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational
and deadline management skills • Adaptable, proactive, and a strong
team contributor • Hands-on experience supporting month-end close
