The organization's core mission is to sustain its ongoing path of growth and expansion.Why join us?Great pay + benefits!Stable work environmentUpward mobilityJob DetailsThis role entails overseeing the financial operations of a management company and its associated entities, including property firms, BHPH finance entities, warranty companies, and health insurance billing units. We seek an individual with a penchant for anonymity, a hands-on approach, and a robust background in general ledger and cost accounting, as well as financial reporting and analysis.Responsibilities:Supervise the monthly closing process, ensuring precise cost allocations to affiliated entities and the punctual release of monthly financial statements.Collaborate on the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and report on variances.Address inquiries from senior management concerning monthly cost allocations.Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, overseeing job performance and offering coaching and counseling.Manage the treasury function.Reconcile bank statements and supervise the reconciliation process conducted by staff accountants.Formulate and document business processes and accounting policies to reinforce internal controls.Collaborate with an external accounting firm, providing requested schedules and information to facilitate annual tax returns and financial audits.Oversee the consolidation of accounting systems, customizing GL accounts and schedules in coordination with Dealer Track for uniformity across all entities.Collaborate with compliance and internal auditors to fortify internal controls.Required Qualifications:Proficiency in GAAP principles and accounting procedures; previous experience with QuickBooks is advantageous.Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment with minimal oversight.A bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred, with at least five years of relevant accounting experience.Possession of a valid driver's license.Automotive dealership experienceInterested in hearing more?
