Job Description:

The position is a hands-on role focused on General Ledger analysis, journal entries, reconciliations, preparation of supporting documentation for monthly/annual financial statements, as well as documenting procedures and participating in process improvement projects.The team is seeking an experienced, passionate leader with excellent knowledge of accounting principles and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A positive and proactive attitude is required to manage direct reports and ensure that assigned tasks support the Company's business and meet deadlines.Essential Functions:

• Responsible for complete oversight of company GL Accounting functions (QuickBooks).
• Prepare specific Balance Sheet account reconciliations and other financial analysis for month end close.
• Reconcile activity in the Company's ERP system (ServiceTitan) to the General Ledger.
• Prepare, approve and record journal entries.
• Effectively manage and develop the accounting team.
• Trouble-shoot issues independently and interact well with other groups within the Company
• Assist with the development of improved processes and key controls within the Finance and Accounting function and ensure compliance of internal controls with existing policies and procedures.
• Research and resolve a variety of internal and external inquiries, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
• Utilize strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
• Assist with external and internal audits, as required.
• Perform such other tasks and assignments to be determined by the Finance and Accounting leadership team due to changing business circumstances and in the spirit of continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Demonstrated success working both individually and with a team in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-oriented environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
• Ability to cultivate strong working relationships with personnel from various areas of responsibility within the organization and interact with employees (at all levels of the company), customers and vendors in a professional manner.
