The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, with specific knowledge in payroll and sales tax. They should also have expertise in using Quickbooks software, and preferably experience working in the construction or manufacturing industry.Responsibilities:Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and credit card statements, and recording financial transactions in Quickbooks.Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and maintaining accurate records.Prepare and file sales tax returns in a timely and accurate manner.Generate financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets, and provide financial analysis to management as needed.Maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system for financial records and documents.Assist in budget preparation and forecasting as needed.Communicate with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
