Robert Half is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk to join the growing staff at a thriving organization. You will perform a range of Accounting Clerical duties including, matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). The Accounting Clerk position is a permanent role in the Ravenna, Ohio, area.
What you get to do every single day

• 
  Support Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance
  
  
• 
  Complete other related duties and assist with special projects as needed
  
  
• 
  Handle general accounting tasks: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
  
  
• 
  Post financial information to journals and ledgers
  
  
• 
  Handle accounts payable tasks: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
  
  
• 
  Reconcile discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
  
  
• 
  Produce statements and reports using a variety of sources
  
  
• 
  Classify documents with the proper expenditure codes and accounting code
  
  
  Requirements
  Requirements:
  Manufacturing experience great but not necessary
  No entry level candidates
  3-5 years' experience
  Great personality and hard working
