responsible for supporting payroll and related areas to ensure
accurate and timely delivery of payments to employees. Must
understand full end to end payroll process as well as integration
points and impacts on other functional areas. Key responsibilities
include supporting payroll production processing and supporting
payroll testing and monthly Import All transports to production.
Works closely with RBS to coordinate technical changes within the
payroll system. Understands and supports garnishment processing and
taxes as required. Participates in projects and supports annual
Year End processing.+PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:The primary
responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Support payroll with project plans, and strategy for mergers,
acquisitions, divestitures
- Review processes for continuous improvements needed to support
operations
- Coordinate and test technical changes to ensure system
processes accurately
- Support Payroll audits and audit reporting as required
- Troubleshoot/resolve production issues. Keep management
informed of any issues that are impacting operations
- Perform and manage assigned year end tasks/projects to ensure
timely completion for issuance of annual W-2's
- Perform Monthly Testing Import to Production as required
- Responsible for knowledge of functional view of the technical
side of payroll to include hourly and salaried time and various
systems integrated with SAP payroll
- Monitors ITTask List to ensure completion of assigned tasks by
due dates.
- Monitors and resolves IT/ISS payroll time tickets for
completion and process change impacts to eliminate
reoccurrence
- Understand full end to end payroll process as well as
integration points and impacts on other functional areas
- Support production and assist with payroll processing tasks as
needed
- Tier 3 support for HRSC and NBS HR Contacts provide
quick/accurate responses to associate issues as needed
- Prepares and maintains training documents, QRCs, for execution
of training on area of responsibility
- Participate in continuous improvement activities as
requested
- Project participation or lead as needed
- Develop payroll activities, timeline, resources to support Year
End payroll end to end
- Retrieves, analyzes and summarizes data, creates reports and
presents to management for review
- Work with cross functional team of RBS, Manila, Operating
Companies to ensure on time and accurate W-2's
- Strong leadership and demonstrated project management
competency
- Participates in Daily Operational Reviews; lead initiatives and
process improvements for NCE activities; complete projects in
Workfront as needed (new Personnel Areas, Building /addresses)
- Performs other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM
EDUCATION LEVEL:
- College degree or equivalent required
- Advanced knowledge of SAP Payroll/HR module and processes
- Experienced with Payroll system testing, script development and
testing process
- Strong Technical competency and ability to learn new system and
processes quickly
- Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work with
minimal supervisionEXPERIENCE:
- 5-7 years of Payroll experience in a large multi-state
organization
- Experience with business outsource processing related to
payroll preferred
- 2-4 years' experience with change control and testing
processes
- Prior experience with time capture systems
- 2-3 year SAP HR/Payroll systems experience preferably in
payroll
- 2-3 years working on technical projects and project management
experience required
- 2+ years' experience working with payroll audit controls
- Change management experience a plusSKILLS:
- Understands and have the ability to learn the role and
responsibilities of the position, including:
- Strong process and continuous improvement orientation, as well
as service orientation
- Strong knowledge of SAP Payroll module and integration
points
- Strong understanding of integration points between payroll and
finance and other HR areas
- Strong verbal and written communications skills. Ability to
collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of the
organization
- Ability to create and execute communication and training
materials for area of responsibility
- Strong analytical, problem solving and influencing skills.
Financial orientation.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability
to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure,
demonstrates a high sense of urgency
- Willingness to change and the ability to adapt quickly to
changing priorities and assignments
- Advanced PC literacy with knowledge of PC based software
(Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, etc).
- Ability to effectively interact with a diverse employee
population.
- Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work with
minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment as well as
independently, with the ability to influence while working with
some degree of ambiguity
- Ability to focus and react quickly to customer needs and

- Strong knowledge of payroll & time systems and/or technical
aptitude
- Strong knowledge of payroll system testing, change control and
script creation
