  Multistate Tax Seniors/Managers Must Haves:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience preparing/reviewing multistate, corporate, partnership for large private or public corporations
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in State Tax Analysis, Planning or Research
  • 1-3 years' experience in OneSource, GoSystems, Alteryx, SAP, Vertex, PeopleSoft or Oracle
  • Prior Public Accounting ExperiencePlusses:
    • CPA - must have to be hired as a Multistate Tax Manager
    • Advanced Tax Technology Experience in OneSource, GoSystems, Alteryx, SAP, Vertex, PeopleSoft or Oracle
    • Prior Big 4 ExperienceDAY TO DAY:
      • A Big Four client is hiring Multistate Tax Seniors and Managers to join their team for a 6 month contract. This opportunity is fully remote. Seniors will be preparing returns and Manager candidates will be reviewing returns. Candidates qualified for Manager must be CPA certified. As a Multistate Tax Senior or Manager, you will provide compliance services to a core client base and work with tax engagement teams in state taxation by working on large, complex tax projects and have access to exceptional specialists and resources. Multistate Tax Seniors and Managers will be performing a technical review of partnership and corporate state tax returns and work papers with attention to multistate tax issues such as apportionment, state modifications, nexus, unitary filings and flow-through taxation. In this role, you will be collaborating with the in-house tax team to perform reviews of estimated payment and withholding calculations and related filings, in addition to researching state tax legislation and assisting with impact on compliance.
