You will be the 3rd hire on the accounting team and in parallel they are looking to add an AP/AR clerk and their first Financial Analyst - all of which report to a leader that is energetic and has built out a team in a start-up environment as well. Yes, this start-up (series C funding coming in a month) offers STOCK OPTIONS. Benefits and Comp are up to 85K - stock options granted, Flex PTO - (unlimited) 100% employee healthcare paid, . Pretty much completely remote but want someone local in Colorado (the metro area) - you can live in Conifer or Sterling - we don't care just live in Colorado and be able to come into the office once per week. The Company: Where AI meets Robotics meets Logistics - I will share more The role: Our growing finance team is looking for a passionate Finance professional who wants to do exceptional work in a rapidly changing and engaging environment. The Financial Analyst will support various business group(s) to drive financial planning and analysis in support of engineering programs, corporate analysis and forecasts. As a trusted partner to the business, this individual will help support strategic financial decisions and initiatives through the development of analysis and financial models in support of our business strategy. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will be immersed in every detail that impacts the budget in order to effectively translate decisions into financial analysis. This contribution will underpin our internal financial performance and external communications with the financial community. This role is highly cross functional and requires an individual who has exceptional team and partnership skills. Duties & Key Objectives --- Conduct financial analyses and research to support the finance team --- Serve as the trusted finance partner to the business and maintain close coordination with Accounting --- Support critical programs like Engineering and capital projects such as production development and facility planning with financial forecasting, planning and analysis --- Play a leading role in the company budgeting & forecasting process --- Contribute to the development of presentations for various stakeholders including management investors and internal teams --- Deliver research and insights on a range of financial topics --- Working in a startup environment means taking on unexpected responsibilities and attempting tasks that no one in the company knows how to do --- Proven track record being agile and resourceful with a can-do attitude --- Thrives in a fast paced and high demand situation --- Ability to continuously learn and be flexible in a startup environment Required Qualifications --- Education, Experience, Training, KSA---s (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) --- Bachelor---s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics or relevant discipline --- 2 yrs. experience in finance/accounting experience as a financial analyst/financial partner to a corporate function or department and/or investment banking or other financial analyst type roles --- Strong analysis and financial modeling experience (advanced Excel skills) --- Experience crafting high-quality presentation materials --- Ability to quickly understand technical and quantitative material, particularly in engineering programs --- A positive attitude and ability to operate with ambiguity and self-direction --- Ability to analyze financial data and review financial reports and account reconciliations --- Ability to multi-task and manage several projects in a fast-paced start-up environment --- Strong collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal --- Hands-on experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP system --- Highly organized with superior accuracy and attention to detail --- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills --- Thrives in a rapidly changing environment with superior multitasking and anticipation skills --- Deadline driven with a can-do, get-it-done today attitude Ideal Qualifications --- Knowledge of US GAAP and experience with a cloud based accounting system is a plus --- Prior experience in a manufacturing/SaaS industries and engineering/manufacturing program planning is preferred Let's get on the phone about this one
