Check us out at Job Summary:The Staff/Cost Accountant will assist in maintaining financial records to track the organizations' assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.Duties/Responsibilities:Performs cost accounting, assists with general accounting, and other related duties for the organization.Calculate costs to determine pricing for new business.Investigate product variances and identify differences related to parts, labor, and overhead.Review and analyze raw material usage and ensure proper general ledger coding.Prepares daily status reports for production.Assists in cycle counts, monthly physical inventory counts, and assists in inventory control.Audits physical inventories and cycle counts.Assists in the preparation of monthly balance sheets and profit and loss statements.Prepares monthly journal entries and assists in closing the monthly books.Reconciles financial accounts and assists in resolving discrepancies.Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information, and documents to perform an annual audit.Assist with budget preparation relating to assigned plants.Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.Performs other related duties as assigned.. Requirements:Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent use ofKnowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.Ability to correctly prepare tax reports.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.Education and Experience:Bachelors degree in Accounting, or a related field, required.At least three years of related experience are required.Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not requiredPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesINTIGRAL is the fenestration industry's fully integrated insulated glass resource.
