Job Description:

We are looking for an Accountant to handle all bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and to assist with audit and tax reporting. The Accountant will also assist with accounting process improvements to help better automate and streamline financial reporting. This is a new position that reports to our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for our fast-growing software as a services (SaaS) financial services technology (FinTech) company which continues to experience rapid growth. While we are presently working remote as company, this role will be based in our suburban Cleveland office.You can learn more about our team and company culture here: https://www.riainabox.com/our-companyWhat you'll do:* Perform all accounting functions including all transactions related to the general ledger, receivables, payables, and payroll* Manage payroll, tax reporting, sales tax, and audit preparation* Produce accurate and timely monthly and annual financial statements and key performance indicator reports, including budget-to-actuals-to-forecast for income statement, cash flow, and balance sheet* Complete monthly bank reconciliations and assist with cash management* Maintain depreciation, amortization, and ASC 606 revenue recognition schedules* Manage company corporate card expense transactions and reporting* Work with the CFO to conduct financial analysis and set operating budgets across the company and ensure management against those budgetsWhat we're looking for:* 5+ years of general accounting experience* Proficient with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Excel, and other relevant applications* In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and best practices* Immaculate attention to detail* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field* CPA is not a requirement, but a plus* Previous experience working in a high-growth technology company is not a requirement, but a plusBenefits:* Highly competitive base salary + performance based bonus* Three weeks paid time off, plus holidays* Exceptional medical, dental, and 401k plan benefits* Directly contributing to the growth and success of a rapidly growing business* Flat organizational structure* Ongoing professional development and direct training* Fun and casual office environment in suburban Cleveland at the new Pinecrest development
