We are looking for Head of Finance and Administration--to join our team!Description:This position, representing the senior financial management position in the enterprise, is responsible for oversight and execution of all financial management, reporting, and control functions.--This includes, but may not be limited to financial close, budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, treasury, and cash / other reconciliations.--Additional responsibilities may include managed interaction with professional providers including financial institutions, insurance providers, landlords, and other specified vendors. Position oversees accounting staff including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The Head of Finance and Administration is a member of MMG's Executive leadership team and, as such, is expected to represent technical proficiencies in that setting, contribute to strategic dialogue, and, along with other Functional Leaders and Business Line Executives, participate in guiding the enterprise.----------Responsibilities:Establishes, monitors, and enforces financial policies and procedures and maintains effective internal controls.Executes financial period closings, reporting both financial condition and KPI's to executive management and business line leadership.Prepares budgets and forecasts according to schedule, collecting input from other leaders, analyzing data, and questioning as appropriate. Monitors financial performance, monitoring relevant trends, and pro-actively communicating to executive management and MMG leaders.----Supports enterprise in achieving financial objectives by pro-actively offering suggestions on improvement opportunities and ensuring that "path to plan" is reasonable and consistently documented. Manages all treasury activity including ensuring effective cash management, execution on investment decisions, and monitoring of liquidity position.Manages multi-state payroll activity and associated reporting including oversight of company payroll services provider. Directs and coordinates administration of company 401K plan.Manages daily interaction with lender(s), delivers necessary bank reporting, and makes recommendations on debt structure and capital structure strategies.----------------Delivers various analytical reporting to company leaders as appropriate or when requested. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions.Oversees finance staff, including recruiting, coaching/development, and performance management if necessary.Recommends staffing strategies for financial functions including potential for outsourcing when appropriate Support and oversee SOC, 401K and any other necessary audit processes.Maintains primary working relationship with outside accounting firm, ensuring year end close and any project work is accomplished efficiently and effectively.--Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related disciplineMinimum 5 to 7 years of accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management rolePractical knowledge of financial law and regulatory standards; including federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting and necessary filings. Familiar with all aspects of payroll processes including background in executing same.Capable of detailed financial data analysis including experience in managing financial projects to satisfactory outcomes. Able and willing to make decisions with limited information in a timely fashion.Proactive in solving problems and willing to confront / raise issues on a timely basis.------High proficiency with computer software including but not limited to Accounting Software, Payroll System(s), and Microsoft Office / Excel.Demonstrated ability to lead and influence beyond direct reporting channel.Experience leading and managing staff including recruiting, retention, and development.Able to organize and prioritize responsibilities while remaining flexible to changing demands.Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and an ethical mindset.Interest in, and commitment to, continuous learning and development.----Must have high level of discretion and judgment.--Physical Demands:Work may require sitting for long periods of time.Occasionally lifting files or paper.Operating a computer, keyboard, a calculator, telephone, copier, fax, scanner or other such office equipment through a normal business day.Vision must be correctable to 20/20 for viewing information on computer screen and reading information in a paper format.Hearing must be in the normal range for telephone contacts.Will require viewing computer screen and typing on a keyboard for prolonged periods of time.Reasonable accommodations may be made be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.--This job description is intended to provide a basic guideline for meeting job requirements.--Responsibilities, knowledge, skills, abilities and working conditions may change as necessary.----As a Medic Management employee you are offered our competitive compensation package, which includes exceptional health benefits, ancillary benefits, and 401(k) plan with a company match.
