Berea Children's Home, ranked as one of the Top Workplaces in Northeast Ohio is looking for an Accounting Manager to assist with day-to day operations of the finance department in Berea. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: supervising accounting staff as assigned including payroll, payables, etc.; ensuring that the agency financial statements are prepared in a timely manner; ensuring that all required month-end journal entries are posted in a timely manner, and ensuring year-end financial statement audit reconciliations are prepared in a timely manner. Salary based upon experience. Candidates must have a High School Diploma and 10 plus years of accounting and supervision experience. A bachelor’s degree in accounting and five plus years of accounting/supervision experience highly preferred. Experience with non-for-profit agencies including Medicaid and fee for service billing and Great Plains and Kronos database experience highly preferred.
