Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract
position is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
with a School-based certification (SLP CCC) to support students in
a school setting located in Oakland, CA. The ideal candidate will
have experience working within educational environments, providing
speech and language interventions to children with a range of
communication disorders. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose,
and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in
students Develop and implement individualized education plans
(IEPs) aligned with school requirements Collaborate with teachers,
parents, and other educational professionals to support student
progress Maintain detailed records of student progress and provide
timely reports Participate in team meetings and contribute to a
multidisciplinary approach to student care Desired Qualifications
and Experience: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from
the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Prior
experience as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist Strong
knowledge of pediatric speech and language development Familiarity
with school regulations, IEP development, and special education
services Effective communication and organizational skills
